More than Just Renovations!
Is your renovation Lost in Translation!

I created my company to have a stronger synergy (relationship) between design and building.

As a creative designer who also builds, I have a passion for combining historical elements with new technology. Through an intimate knowledge & understanding of form, function & composition and strong ties in construction, I have created a host of unique environments that evoke personalized style.

Based in Ottawa I specialize in everything from modern renovations to historic restorations and often a unique fusion of the two.

Please feel free to explore some of our exceptional spaces

Paul Denys

The trades go back along way in my family. My great Grandfather Henry George Woodley a mould maker in a bell foundry in Toronto built his own house in 1908. Photo taken in 1913 (104 Hogarth Ave). It took him 7 years because each night he would bring lumber home on the electric street car from Riverdale Lumber on Danforth. He wheel barrowed all the bricks from a brick foundry on Pottery Road, 3 blocks away all with the help of his brother Fred who was a mason (who built the steeple for  Holy Name church where Henry made the bell).

My Grandfather Wilfrid Francis Cook was an electrician who work on the hydro lines and gold mines in Malartic (near Val dor, Quebec), and St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto. He was involve with a company call Research which spear headed  electrical conversion of Canada a reality in the 1940s
