A Study In Wainscotting

Sometimes, an older home needs help to keep up with the needs of a growing family. Moving walls, wiring in the modern conveniences, creating functional, energy-efficient spaces are just part of what makes this space work well.

Stained glass transoms to let light flow between the rooms, fixtures and tiles chosen for their old world charm and antiques incorporated into the design – keep hold of the traditions that make this space a home. Each room has different widths of wainscoting paneling appropriate to the scale of each room.

This project involved interior window for natural day lighting, and the grooving of drywall to create faux wainscoting.
